Whale Watch Tour

*Terms and Conditions of $49 offer

May is our "whale search" month. It's an exciting time when the first migrating Humpback Whales of the season begin to appear off the Gold Coast. During May we offer our Whale Search Cruise for $49 per passenger because the whales are not yet abundant enough to guarantee a sighting 100%. However, the chances of encountering a whale at this time are still quite good and this, combined with our knowledge and whale finding expertise, provides visitors to the Gold Coast in May an opportunity to see these gentle giants of the ocean. The Whale Search Cruise also offers spectacular views of the Gold Coast skyline and hinterland and the possibility of an encounter with wild dolphins. However, please do not purchase a $49 ticket unless you understand and agree to the following terms and conditions.

  • Validity The $49 per passenger offer is valid for a single whale tour in May 2015 only and cannot be used after 31 May 2015. No exceptions. Special offer rate of $49 per passenger applies to adults, children (3 to 13 years - no children under 3) and Aust or NZ senior card holders.
  • Whale Sighting Refund Sea World Whale Watch will not provide a refund of any kind to passengers if a tour fails to sight a whale during May 2015. Sea World Whale Watch will not provide a free return trip if a tour fails to sight a whale during May 2015.
  • Whales PLUS Sea World If you wish to combine whale watching with a full day entry to Sea World in May 2015 then normal Combo Ticket rates apply - $110 adult, $88 child, $99 senior and $325 family. Sea World entry tickets will not be issued to passengers in May 2015 until after their whale watching tour. No refunds of free return whale watching tours will be provided if your tour fails to sight a whale in May 2015.
