Today was one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. Not only were we lucky, the crew were joyous and informative. The special features of the boat and environmentally conscious design were further compliments to a great experience.

The best experience ever! I'm from Cooma, Snowy Mountains, and regularly go whale watching in Eden but nothing has compared to this encounter today! Day, week, life MADE! Thank you so much!

*Terms and Conditions of $49 offer

During May we offer our Whale Search Cruise for $49 per passenger because it is the start of the humpback whale migration season. However, the chance of encountering whales in May is quite good and this, combined with our expertise at finding whales, provides visitors to the Gold Coast during these months an opportunity to see these gentle giants of the ocean. The Whale Search Cruise also offers spectacular views of the Gold Coast skyline and hinterland and the possibility of an encounter with wild dolphins. However, please do not purchase a $49 Whale Search Cruise ticket unless you understand and agree to the following terms and conditions.

  • Validity The $49 per passenger offer is valid for a single whale tour in May 2018. No exceptions. Special offer rate of $49 per passenger applies to adults, children (3-13 years – no infants under 3 years) and Australian and New Zealand Senior Card holders.
  • Whale Sighting Refund Sea World Whale Watch will not provide a refund of any kind to passengers if a tour fails to sight a whale during May 2018. Sea World Whale Watch will not provide a free return trip if a tour fails to sight a whale during May 2018.
  • How Do I Book a Tour? Go to our BOOK NOW page on this website, pick your preferred May tour date and then follow the prompts.
